Carnival to Cruise from New York Year-Round

Beginning in April 2012, Carnival Cruise Line will sail from New York City all year-round. The Carnival Miracle will offer 8-day cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas. It will be the first time that Carnival has departures from New York throughout the winter. The Carnival Glory also sails from New York in the summer and fall months.

This Week's New (or Improved) Hotels

The number of "trendy" Aloft hotels in New York City has doubled with the opening of Aloft New York Brooklyn. It's in downtown Brooklyn, just off Flatbush Avenue and a healthy hike from the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan. 176 loft-like guest rooms, two-story atrium lobby and the "w xyz bar".
