Over the past couple of months we've been doing major upgrades of our regional hotel guides, while also adding a few new ones.  This week we unveiled two sites:  TheRealVirginiaBeach.com and TheRealSanDiego.com.  If your destination is Virginia Beach or Norfolk, a visit to The Real Virginia Beach is the easy way of finding hotels near hundreds of landmarks, now featuring improved maps, hotel lists and many more destinations.  The Real San Diego is a new site, offering a similar level of hotel-finding help to those venturing to the opposite side of the country.

This Week's New (or Improved) Hotels

The Four Points by Sheraton has entered the Seattle market with the opening this week of Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Seattle Center.  Located on the northwest side of downtown Seattle, the hotel has received numerous upgrades as part of a conversion from a Comfort Suites property.

The Bellagio in Las Vegas is spending $70 million to redesign over 2,500 guest rooms in the hotel's main tower.  Their Resort King Rooms and Resort Queen Rooms are getting distinct designs, including benches at the foot of beds, brighter lighting and a full-length mirror.  Improved amenities include a 40" HDTV, iHome docking station and a laptop safe in one of the nightstands.  The remodeling effort is scheduled to be completed by mid-December.
