Disney Mediterranean Cruises

Disney Cruise Line returns to the Mediterranean in 2013. From June to August the Disney Magic will offer 7- and 12-night Mediterranean cruises out of Barcelona, Spain. Sail to great ports like Florence, Rome, Naples, and Athens. This is a family-friendly way to travel in Europe.  (Don't forget that the Disney Magic also cruises from Texas beginning later this year. In September the ship starts western Caribbean cruises out of Galveston.)


This Week's New (or Improved) Hotels

The Holiday Inn Midtown 31st Street is now accepting guests in the heart of Manhattan.  This new 18-story 122 room hotel is located on 31st Street between Broadway and Fifth Avenue, a leisurely walk from Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, The Empire State Building, Macy's and much more.

Calling itself a "luxury boutique" hotel, the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown is now open on the north side of downtown Atlanta.  Formerly the Hotel Palomar, the new 4-star Renaissance has 287 guest rooms and 17 suites, the 4,445 square foot High Ballroom and a 442 gallon salt water aquarium in the lobby.
