Wave Season is Here!
This time of year is called the "wave season", the most popular time to book a cruise. Cruise lines offer all kinds of deals to attract business. Free upgrades and shipboard credits are common. Royal Caribbean has bargains on the Allure of the Seas ship out of Fort Lauderdale. Carnival has deals on the Carnival Dream out of Port Canaveral. Norwegian Cruise Line even has deals on the new Norwegian Getaway ship out of Miami.
NEWS FLASH: Carnival Returning to Norfolk!
Carnival Cruises announced this week that they'll once again be offering cruises from Norfolk, Virginia in 2015.  After many years of cruising from Norfolk, Carnival moved out of the mid-Atlantic port city in 2013 due to the cost of new emissions regulations.  They've now decided to upgrade their ships to play by the new rules and plan to sail from Norfolk in the spring and fall.  NorfolkVisitor.com will have all the details as they become available.
Resort Golf Guide
Our network of travel sites expanded again this week with the addition of our new guide to US golf resort towns, Golf-Myrtle.com.  Formerly just a guide to the golf courses of Myrtle Beach, we've given it a major upgrade and a new purpose.  It still has everything you need to know about golf near "The Grand Strand", but it also covers resort golf elsewhere in the United States.

TheRealPlaces now has over 36,500 US hotels available for online booking, plus another 56,000 places to stay in over 180 countries around the world.  Hotels added this week include the Aqua Beach Inn in Myrtle Beach; the Blue Tree Resort in Orlando; and the Hotel Indigo in Anaheim, California.
