You no longer need to make the trip to Galveston to take a cruise from the Houston area - Caribbean Princess
is now making weekly cruises from the Bayport Cruise Terminal. This "sorta, kinda new" cruise port is on Galveston Bay, 30 miles from downtown Houston, and has been unused since it was built a couple of years ago. After an inaugural 4-day cruise, Caribbean Princess will be departing on 7-night Western Caribbean cruises through April 26, 2014. Emerald Princess will take over a similar schedule for the 2014-2015 season and will be joined by Norwegian Jewel
