Featured City of the Week: Nashville
Music is a big part of the holiday season, so it seems appropriate to highlight Nashville, Tennessee - aka "Music City" - as our featured city of the week. Country music fans will enjoy a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Large events - music-related and others - are regularly held at the Music City Center convention center. TheConcertNexus.com has ticket and nearby hotel information for all the major performance venues in town, including the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the Grand Ole Opry and Ryman Auditorium. Sports fans visiting Nashville are most likely headed to LP Field - home of the Tennessee Titans or Bridgestone Arena - where the Nashville Predators regularly take the ice.
Port of Miami Sets Record
Miami set a world record with 4.8 million multi-day cruise passengers in fiscal year 2014. During the year the port welcomed Norwegian Cruise Line's newest ship, the Norwegian Getaway. Norwegian's next new ship, the Norwegian Escape, begins sailing from Miami in November of 2015. Cruise lines sailing from Miami include Carnival, Celebrity, Crystal, Disney, Norwegian, Oceania, Regent Seven Seas, and Royal Caribbean.
