Seven Seas Explorer
Regent Seven Seas Cruises began construction of "Seven Seas Explorer" this week. The first piece of steel was cut at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Italy on July 15th. They're calling it "The Most Luxurious Ship Ever Built" and it will have the best staff-to-guest and space-per-guest ratios of any cruise ship. You can see video of the ceremonial "steel cutting" here. Seven Seas Explorer is scheduled to begin sailing in 2016. In the meantime, you'll find the schedule of upcoming Regent Seven Seas Mediterranean cruises at CoolMediterraneanCruises.com.
