Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas Launched
|
The new Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas cruise ship was christened Monday in Southampton, England.
It is the 3rd largest cruise ship ever built and the 23rd ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet.
"Wow factor" features include the first skydiving simulator at sea, the first bumper cars at sea, robot bartenders, super-fast wi-fi, Spectra's Cabaret in the spectacular Two70 lounge, and the North Star sky ride.
The Serenity adults-only area includes a tiered pool, hot-tub, juice bar, and a healthy-food restaurant.
A new all-digital check-in process cuts boarding time to about 10 minutes.
The Anthem of the Seas sails from England to the
Mediterranean
through October, then it moves to
Cape Liberty (NJ)
for cruises to the Bahamas, Bermuda, Caribbean, and Canada.
