Amber Cove
Amber Cove is the Caribbean's newest cruise port, but it has a long history. In fact, the nearby town of Puerto Plata is the site of the first European settlement in the new world.

Amber Cove is a port developed by Carnival Cruise Corporation for exclusive use by its cruise ships. The cove is surrounded by lush tropical forest on mountains. Enjoy the crafts marketplace, ziplines, splash fountains, and more than 40 shore excursions.

The town of Puerto Plata is a resort destination in itself. Beaches are the attraction, and the town has the Caribbean's only aerial tramway up a mountain.
