Small Ship Cruises from Florida
The only small ship cruises out of Florida are from Jacksonville. American Cruise Line's ships have no more than 150 passengers, and their compact size allows them to travel calm inland waterways to quaint ports. The ships are made in the United States and have an all-American crew.

A favorite itinerary is the cruise from Jacksonville (Florida) to Charleston (South Carolina). The 7-night trip goes up the Intracoastal Waterway with stops at Jekyll Island (Georgia), Sapelo Island (Georgia), Savannah (Georgia), Hilton Head (South Carolina), and Beaufort (South Carolina).

The other main type of cruise available is the Great Florida Rivers cruise. It is a 7-night exploration of the St John's and Tolomato rivers.
