It starts on Halloween…love those Kit Kats, right?
Just as the left-over candy runs out – BAM – Thanksgiving…Pass the pecan rolls, please… Then Christmas. Malls, money, travel, food, food, food… And then New Years. Cheers.
So…How ya doin’? Have you ever heard this expression…?
“It’s not what you do between New Years and Thanksgiving that matters – It’s what you do between New Year’s and Thanksgiving.”
Whoever said that did not grow-up in my house. Let’s just say that they were half right.
The holidays can be a wrecking ball to your health. Most people feel like this is the most stressful time of the year… And the months that follow can be the sickest. Exhaustion, head-aches, weight-game or pain syndromes peak this time of year.
And then, of course, we slide right into “Flu Season”. Let’s break that tradition RIGHT NOW! Here’s what we know: “You don’t GET sick – you DO sick!” Well, this year – you don’t have to.
Let’s make a new resolution right now – a critical one: I am not going to DO sick this year.
