Hey, Happy Wednesday! Without giving away my exact age, when
I was considerably younger, organic food meant vegetables with dirt still on them and genetic modification was something that only happened in Doctor Who or the science fiction of Clarke, Asimov and Dick. These words are now a big part of the discussion when it comes to human or pet food. Many people swear by organic food, others think it’s just a marketing device. Some see genetically modified (GM) food as a blight, others see it as a way to feed a booming global population. It’s therefore unsurprising and telling that definitions and regulations surrounding both categories differ around the world.
We’ll leave GM food for another time, but what about organic? Is organic dog food any better for your dog than non-organic dog food? I won’t give you the answer in this email — it’s not a simple yes or no. I’d ask you to read this article: Is Organic Dog Food Better? You can also see our current list
of best organic dog foods here. Before I sign off, I’d like to say something about the replies we get to emails. We read every single one. The vast majority are supportive, informative, heart-warming, funny or challenging — which is always healthy — and written politely and respectfully. As people who only want the best for your and our dogs, they lift us. Thank you. You're a crucial part of the Dog Food Advisor family.
