Show Synopsis
Floaters web series is a comedy based in a Float Spa in Arizona. The show follows a cast of characters through day to day adventures of working, living, floating. The show pokes fun at floating, but also highlights the true benefits such as chronic pain reduction, relief from anxiety, depression & PTSD, enhanced creative states, and super-learning. Each character has their own set of tribulations to overcome throughout the series, but the main plot stems from Mark
and Sarah Parson running the Float Spa business.
Character Breakdown
David Davidson – male – 30s – 40s – any race – British accent, takes everything to extremes. Provides a lot of comic relief.
Sarah Parsons – female – Asian 20s – 30s – Co-Owner of the Float Spa. Going to China to consult on growing flotation therapy industry. Will need to speak some lines in Chinese
Mark Parsons – male – any race – 20’s -30s Westerner, glasses, average build and height. Owner of the float spa. Married to Sarah. Timid, quiet, sarcastic, hard working. Has some extrasensory powers. Sarah first person to encourage and support him and his encounters with extra worldly experiences.
Olivia – female – any race 20s -40s – Westerner, tall, platinum blonde, long hair. Alpha Centurion, 230 or so years old. Lived on earth for 40 years undercover. Very stoic, calculating, calm.
Matthew – male – any 20s – 30s – Navy Seal, Millennial to middle aged. Curious, compassionate and tremendous forbearance.
Karl – non binary – 40s-60s – characterization emphasis is on the physical more than the verbal ala “Mr. Bean”

If you cannot make audition please email Nick and he can send sides for video submission.
Please read entire series to better understand your character before audition.
Nick is looking for actors that understand the basics of Stanislavky's Method and recommends reading "The Stanislavsky System" by Sonia Moore.
