An evening of new work exploring and celebrating what it means to be womxn in 2019 through song, dance, and spoken word. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local charity Southwest Indigenous Women's Coalition http://www.swiwc.org/ .
Character Breakdown
Seeking a diverse company of actors, singers, and dancers, interested in collaborating on new work. Our casting seeks to be as inclusive as possible and we invite gender non-conforming, genderqueer, transgender, non-binary actors as well as performers of all races/ethnicities, ages and sizes. As an ADA compliant theatre, we welcome performers of all abilities and will make all reasonable accommodations in order to cast performers, regardless of disability.
NOTE: If you have worked with us in the past but don’t have a relationship with these specific directors, we would recommend auditioning. If you have a relationship with Bridge and are unavailable to audition but interested in working on the project, please let us know by sending an email to [email protected].
What To Prepare
Please prepare a song, monologue, or spoken word piece, under 2 mins. If you don't have one, we will have a side available to read so come early to look it over. Bring headshot/resume. Be prepared to participate in a movement exploration - dress appropriately.
Must be available for rehearsal and performance on Saturday, Sept 14th, as well as a minimal rehearsal schedule prior, depending on casting.
