Sleeping Beauty

Valley Youth Theatre’s production of Sleeping Beauty is a restoration comedy, based on the play by famed children’s author Blanche Marvin (New York City’s Merri Mimes), and set to Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet. The story centers around a cursed princess, a wronged Evil Fairy, a kingdom in danger, and a prince’s love to save them all.

Galatea – Immediate Casting

Two dads send their daughters into the woods dressed as boys to escape the curse of a virgin-eating monster. They meet, fall in love, and are allowed by the Roman gods to remain lovers without any changes being made to them (i.e., one of them isn’t turned into a boy).
