Anything Goes – Desert Foothills Theater
The S.S. American carries an unusual group of passengers, including a gangster (Moonface), a wealthy debutante & her mother (Hope & Evangeline Harcourt), a nightclub singer (Reno), and a New York businessman and his stowaway assistant ( Witney & Billy). It turns out that Hope is Billy’s long-lost love and is now engaged to a wealthy Englishman, Oakleigh. After a series of comedic turns, Billy wins back Hope. Reno, manages to seduce and win Oakley while Moonface Martin attempts to escape the law.
