Synopsis
It’s 1962 in Baltimore,
and the lovable plus-size teen Tracy Turnblad has only one desire — to dance on the popular Corny Collins Show. When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from social outcast to sudden star. She must use her newfound power to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a TV network, all without denting her ‘do!

Character Breakdown
While this is a youth production, we are casting age appropriately (ages 13 and Up). That being said, if a teen is interested in a role traditionally played by adults, they are welcome to do so!

- Participation fee is $215
– Includes all costume
pieces (except shoes and undergarments), show t-shirt, and access to all dress rehearsal photos.
– Full and partial scholarships available. No one EVER turned away for a scholarship.
