All That Matters – Arizona Women’s Theatre Compnay
This play follows the lives of 6 women in a South Asian American community who have to reconcile their actions against the larger expectations of their culture and religion. Their interactions and the close sense of affiliation they have despite their conflicting viewpoints about morality are the focus of the play. Sara leaves her community to go to dance school in a different state without express support from her family, and returns to rekindle her relationships while standing her ground.

The Mousetrap – Westbrook Village Players
The Mousetrap opened in London in 1952 and has been playing to packed houses there since, holding the record for most performances of any play. The play takes place in a bed and breakfast, where the owners and their guests have been snowed in by a blizzard. A detective arrives on skiis to tell them that a murderer is in the area and clues point to his being one of them. The characters become suspicious of each other. Clues are revealed. . . and the play is famous for its twist ending.
