A biting satire about the three-way marriage of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Scientology. Based on actual interviews and completely imagined scenes, seven actors portray 54 characters, including Oprah Winfrey, Matt Lauer, Josh Hartnett, Steven Spielberg, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lopez, and, of course…Suri Cruise. Structured like THE LARAMIE PROJECT, THE TOMKAT PROJECT chronicles the Scientology saga and skewers our collective obsession with celebrity.

A young nun has died under mysterious circumstances in a remote parish in northern Michigan, and her superior, Father Rivard, has been charged with her murder. The action alternates between interrogations, testimony and scenes from the past which reveal that Father Rivard, who had been banished to the small, up-country parish, fell in love with Sister Rita.

Adapted & dramatized from the original story by The Brothers Grimm. Rumpelstiltskin, must possess an infant of royal birth because of a challenge from Griselda, a 400 year old witch. Plotting and scheming, he spreads the word that the miller’s daughter, Laura, can weave straw into gold. Because the country is bankrupt, she’s swept off to the palace and ordered to spin and spin. With Rumpelstiltskin’s help she delivers the gold. But Laura has to guess the Wizards name or pay a high fee!

24 Hour Theatre Project – Phoenix Theatre
Phoenix Theater brings back the 24 Hour Theatre Project to close out the New Works Festival. This is the 6th time Phoenix Theater has hosted this zaniness. Actors are required to be at Phoenix Theater for a couple hours on the evening of Saturday March 28th and all day Sunday, March 29th to rehearse, block, memorize and get ready for a full production that evening with full tech, no scripts & a whole lot of adrenaline!

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee – Fountain Hills Theater
A new musical based upon C-R-E-P-U-S-C-U-L-E, an original improvisational play created by Rebecca Feldman about a middle school spelling bee. Six spellers - Olive Ostrovsky, William Barfée, Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre, Marcy Park, Leaf Coneybear and Chip Tolentino - compete at the Putnam Valley Middle School in Putnam County, NY and learn that winning isn't everything.
