St. Joan at Space 55. Excellent roles for adult males and one boy. St. Joan is Shaw's version of the story of Joan of Arc, beginning with her fighting for support to get to the uncrowned king of France, persuading him to put her in charge of the army, convincing soldiers to fight for her, getting the King crowned, and then being captured by the English who are determined to destroy her by convicting her of witchcraft and burning her at the stake. The language and arguments are brilliant.
