It turns out, there are a lot of negative emotions around the school that get brought up throughout the investigation and everyone seems to be hiding something. The film examines the struggles of depression as well as the hardships that, teenager or adult, we all face while we continue to grow.

Shadow of a Doubt – Larkspur Studios
Three years after the death of their friend Annie, six college students return home for Winter Break. Being home opens old wounds, and each individual continues to cope (or not cope) with their loss. One of the group finally voices a long standing suspicion: the wrong man was arrested for Annie's murder. As the friends discuss the night before Annie's body was found, a case long thought closed now appears as fresh as the day she died.
