In William Shakespeare's dark comedy, an aspiring nun, Isabella, is faced with an impossible choice after her brother is sentenced to death for the crime of "fornication." When a corrupt deputy propositions her and says she can trade her virginity for her brother's life, Isabella refuses and her brother seems headed for the chopping block.

City of Angels – Theater Works
City of Angels is a musical comedy with a sensational jazz score by Cy Coleman and David Zippel and a witty book by Larry Gelbart. The musical weaves together two plots, the "real" world of a writer trying to turn his book into a screenplay, and the "reel" world of the glamorous film noir movie in the writer’s mind. This hilarious and seductive musical features the show stopping songs “You Can Always Count on Me,” “What You Don’t Know About Women,” and “I’m Nothing Without You.”

Alien Idea: A Fun Environmental PSA – Dahl Film Productions
Two or three "aliens" traveling through space are on the verge of contacting Earth regarding humans' interest in Universal Peace. Moments before sending a message, garbage floats by the alien spacecraft. In disgust, the aliens realize the Earthlings are not ready for Peace. It's a fun, positive, and colorful PSA.

The Sic Sense – The Sic Sense Sketch Comedy Troupe
Our shows run around an hour and a half with up to 18-24 sketches. We are also known for our parody musical numbers (we usually do 3 per show). We rehearse for 3-4 weeks before each run as WE ARE SCRIPTED. Each show runs 2-3 weekends and is cast with 4 men & 4 women.
