Synopsis
John’s boyfriend will wait for him while he “figures himself out.” But so will John’s girlfriend. This deliciously witty dark comedy, told will pure theatricality, as the playwright insists that there be no set and no props, and NO MIMING of props. A challenging acting experience that means a scene about wine isn’t about wine at all. Cock is an engagingly unique perspective on affairs of the heart… and that OTHER part of the body. Character Breakdown

Needed are 3 men an 1 woman between the ages of 18-50+
“JOHN” (male 25-35) After several years in a relationship, he suddenly needs to “find himself.” His fear of commitment, or perhaps just his incredible self-involvement, make him unable to choose between two people who love him. It’s never clear what he likes more, affection… or attention. THIS ROLE REQUIRES NUDITY.

“M” (male 25-35) John’s longterm boyfriend. Is he truly in love with John, or does he just like being walked on and left on the hook? Compassionate, needy and maybe a little too understanding. THIS ROLE REQUIRES NUDITY.

“W” (female 25-35) John’s new girlfriend. Maybe a little obsessive? Follows John around and plays on his doubts about his relationships. Also willing to wait for him to make a decision. THIS ROLE REQUIRES NUDITY

“F” (male 50+) M’s father. He accepted John into the family when his son started seeing him. Now’s he’s pretty miffed that John is sleeping with a woman and making his son wait around for a decision.
