Synopsis
The biblical story
of Joseph & his coat of many colors comes alive in the musical retelling. Joseph, the favorite son of Jacob, is blessed with vivid dreams that foretell the future. Sold into slavery by his jealous brothers, Joseph endures a series of adventures which challenge him to his core.The Elvis-like Pharaoh is interested in Joseph’s dreams. An Old Testament tale, is set to a multitude of musical genres, spanning from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock and
roll.

There is a $150.00 production fee. Scholarships are available, please contact us for more information. Please go to
http://limelightyouththeater.org/ to complete our audition registration and choose an audition time. If you are unable to attend auditions, you can submit a video audition to us no later than February 2nd
What To Prepare
Everyone is required to attend a dance call on the
day of auditions, Wednesday, February 3rd either at 5:30 – 6pm or 7:00 – 7:30.
You will be required to sing one song uptempo in the style of the show that is 30 seconds to– 1 minute. Please have another song prepared if we want to hear more.
You can use a karaoke CD, ipod,
phone or bring sheet music. You will not need a monologue.
