Trapped (Working Title) – The Film School @ SCC
'Trapped' is a student short film about a little boy and his mother who are victims of his abusive father. Every night is the same, he gracelessly stumbles through the front door drunken and belligerent, looking for someone to take his anger out on. Sometimes, Trevor decides to investigate the screaming; even though he knows that the price he'll pay is high if he gets caught.

Masterpiece (tentatively titled) follows a college-aged art prodigy who desperately wants his work to be featured at a nearby gallery. He's great at what he does, at least in his eyes, but he faces constant rejection by the gallery curators. Even the cashier at his favorite arts & crafts store can't help but tease him about his consistent failure to deliver. But one day, after yet another rejection, the artist has an epiphany--and it just might get him noticed.

Some of the characters that we offer are Spiderman, Superman, Batman, Robin, prince's, jedi's, storm troopers, pirates and more ! Entertainers are required to learn face painting and balloon twisting and we offer training classes monthly. Pay starts at $35/hr, $10 each additional half hour, plus tip and travel. Pay goes up to $40 an hour once trained in face painting and balloon twisting.

Peoria Powerpals – The Theater Works
This is casting for recurring "Powerpal" characters, who are part of a cooperative effort between Theater Works and the City of Peoria to use live actors to bring energy conservation and recycling messages to the public at special events in Peoria. The characters will appear in costumes, with planned messages and dialogue, at about a dozen events through the course of the year, mostly on Saturday mornings. The actors wil be paid for rehearsal and performance hours.
