Welcome to the electric 29th season of the Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre (SCT) preparing students for the professional world of theater! This is not a summer theatre camp. This professional training program is the only one of its kind offered in Arizona! Our “boot-camp” in theatre training meets Monday – Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and is an audition/interview process that accepts only 20 actors and 15 technicians/designers so you will be surrounded by people who are committed!

The seminal event in American history blazes to vivid life in this most unconventional of Broadway hits. 1776 puts a human face on the pages of history as we see the men behind the national icons: proud, frightened, uncertain, irritable, charming, often petty and ultimately noble figures determined to do the right thing for a fledgling nation.

These stories reveal dark secrets in the face of nihilism and anarchy.
