Synopsis
Short 10 second video scenes, each Child/Parent team will do 7 to 10 scenes in a half day. Example: Daughter throwing a tantrum while waiting for her Dad to put her favorite movie on the TV. Dad rushing to comply, then next scene using techniques to calm Daughter down.

Character Breakdown

Children 3 to 6 years old re-enacting typical behaviors of a child with Autism, paired with an adult (parent role)

Need 7 to 8 children and 7 adults.

Scenes are not difficult, but child must be able to take direction and adults should be comfortable working with children.


Additional Info

Scenes will be used for E-Learning courses for parents of newly diagnosed children affected by Autism. Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC) is a local non-profit organization that conducts research, educates families and the public, and provides lifetime support for those affected with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Pay is $200 per actor, per half day session.

Director will have actor perform 2 to 3 short behaviors like example.
