A Boy Named Cesar
Produced by New Carpa Theater Co.

The Nation is mired in the Great Depression and 10-year- old Cesar
Chavez and his family have learned they’ll soon be evicted from their
Yuma farm. As Cesar goes out to fetch water from the backyard well,
the ghost of his grandfather appears to show the boy the promise of
his future as one of the nation’s great civil rights leaders. (Presented
in English.)

The Lunch Time Theater productions are one act plays (approx. 45 min) that are presented as noontime entertainment for the downtown lunch crowd. All lunch time performances start at 12:10 with doors opening at 11:40 AM
