Civil Rights Testing Project – Center for Civil Rights
The Center for Civil Rights is a nonprofit that conducts civil rights testing. For example, we'll hire an actor of color and a white actor to visit the same real estate agency. They'll both pretend to be interested in a new home, and we'll compare how both are treated. This is an important method for investigating discriminatory practices.
