Synopsis
Annually the ASU School of Film, Dance and Theatre creates a database for its students to review for casting for their individual films. Actors may either submit their headshots and resumes, or can come down to ASU and perform a 1-2 minute monologue that students will be able to review for the entire 2017 - 2018 Academic School Year. You're basically auditioning for over 200 student films by
submitting to the database.
The students will review the Video Database before they go to the Headshot and Resume database, so your chances of getting cast are exponentially higher if you come in for a video audition.
NOTE: If you have auditioned for ASU in the past, we don't keep your audition. You will need to perform another audition to be placed in the Database.
Character Breakdown
You will be auditioning for a wide variety of roles and projects in this general audition, so come prepared with a 1-2 minute monologue. Also don’t wear white or black for the video auditions to avoid blending into the background.
