So, how is your 2019 going so far?
Did you accomplish your goals?
I know that when we make goals, some get accomplished, some don’t, and others need revisions - I am still working on some of my goals. One of my goals for this year was to work on my internal downloads.
So what is an internal download?
Sometimes negative thoughts pop up and keep on repeating in my mind. These negative thoughts have no relevance to what is happening at the present moment. These negative thoughts get triggered by hearing or seeing something in the present
moment that take me back to some sad experiences and moments from my childhood; waves of different emotions run through my brain and they can negatively affect my body, causing me neck and back pain.
When this happens, I stop and ask myself: are these negative thoughts that I am telling myself really true or are they something that was downloaded inside me maybe during childhood or at some point in life? Maybe you have experienced something similar - like your parents, siblings, or relatives have said things that have made you sad, angry, anxious, or
fearful.
Let me share a bit about how a baby internally downloads information from its surroundings before birth. This downloading process starts about 80 days before the baby is born - when the baby is in the mother’s tummy. Everything that mom eats, thinks, and says gets downloaded in to the baby - the surroundings that the baby receives matters. This downloading process continues as the baby grows up into its early adolescents, as the child takes in his/her surroundings and takes in all of the negative and positive things told to him/her. Then, slowly, the child starts to become, or turn into, what was being downloaded into the child.
Some of the internal downloads that the child receives is positive: love, happiness, joy, peacefulness, contentment, and gratitude.
However, some of these internal downloads are negative: anger, hatred, anxiety, stress, grief, and fear.
We exist on a plane of duality, so we are bound to experience happiness and anger, peace and anxiety, and more. It is up to you as an individual to decide which route to live by.
I practice the Five Elements program that I learned from my qigong guru. Five Elements is a movement-based program centered on qigong movements that activate your innate healing energy to help aid your body to rejuvenate naturally. I admit
it is not easy to delete or change what was downloaded, but with patience and practice, we can get closer to accomplishing this feat.
As I mentioned earlier about stopping and being aware of the thoughts and various emotions happening in the brain and body, I have found in my experiences that when I work and practice the Five Elements - which is a way of transforming negative-feeling emotions into positive-feeling emotions - it helps me
to be in the present moment. I remember that forgiveness is not forgetting the negative events that have happened to us, but it is a learning experience to help us process the emotions to move forward - to feel peace. Our heart is the birthplace of our soul and we are the bridge between heaven and earth. I feel it is important to periodically check our downloads and try to live a loving life.
With some of my clients, I have shared this Five Element program, which has helped them to better understand their feelings and how they can learn to transform negative feelings into more positive ones. By doing so, they are able to release stress, anxiety, anger, and fear easier than before.
I invite you to check out what you have been downloaded with to reflect what aspect(s) in your life you may want to work upon.
