Thanksgiving, Gratitude and Giving...

Published: Fri, 11/28/14

Hope you had a very Happy Thanksgiving!

I took some time to reflect and thank God for all of
our abundance and blessings!

Taking time to celebrate with family and friends (and
missing other family and friends) I am grateful to God to be
able to have spent time with them in the past, and am looking
forward to more in the future....

Overall, I feel rich and so blessed!  (Hope you do, too!)

If you aren't already, I suggest sowing some gratitude and
thankfulness for what you already have in your life,
Instead of focusing on what you don't have (lack.)

It's amazing how what we focus on expands, and changes our
perspective and attitude.

Business philosopher Jim Rohn taught: "Giving is better than
receiving because giving starts the receiving process."

So if want to receive more (recognition, praise, encouragement,
strength, confidence, courage, belief, help, love, abundance,
money, etc...)

-- then go give it to someone else.

This comes from a biblical principle: You reap what you sow.
This concept is derived from growing plants.  If you spread a
bunch of corn seed into the soil, corn will grow, and later,
you will get a harvest.

How does this work with us?  If we spread discord and lies through
gossip into relationships, don't expect to get back honesty and trust.

When we think and speak negatively about our ability to do something,
don't expect to be able to do it better.

We must plant good seed according to the
harvest we wish to receivelater.   Remember,
it takes time to grow: A season...

Here's a challenge for you:

1.)  Identify 3 things that you want.
2.)  Identify at least one person for each thing
3.)  Go give it to them. Plant your seeds!

(What's your 3 things?)

To Your Success!
