The Evolve Academy Children (all levels) Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament is a Gi-Only tournament open to all Evolve Academy of Martial Arts Affiliated schools and those schools personally invited to attend by Master Mike Moses. This year's tournament will be held at Groundswell MMA in Frederick, Maryland and will take place on Saturday, December 2nd. Registration is now open and offered through Eventbrite. **TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER!!  REGISTER TODAY!! REGISTER NOW For Our December 2nd Tournament! These tournaments help our students to learn how to compete and gain experience in order to prepare for bigger competitions, both in Jiu-Jitsu and in life. What builds emotional stability and maturity is experiencing the ability to face adversity and challenge with an open mind and fighting spirit. We all strive to win but our goal is to embrace the opportunity to grow and learn and this is the primary focus of this tournament. We would like to kindly ask all parents and coaches to uphold these same standards:)  This tournament will be an informal introduction to competitive grappling for you or your child. Our intent is to ensure that everyone has a positive experience, whether win or lose. We will be using round robin bracketing to allow participants to have multiple matches and will make every attempt to pair all competitors, and children especially, to ensure they are of similar weights and abilities.
