Hi ,Â
Â
We find it invaluable to be able to tell investors where their money is going, as well as how and when it will be returned to them.Â
Â
Being able to explain this plainly makes you look like the expert producer you are. And if you can't do it - do you really think you deserve for someone to invest their money in you?Â
Â
Â
Â
Let's look at an example of our Professional Financial Projections Service and how it's used in the Business Plan.Â
Can you tell your investors how each $1,000 they invest would be returned to them? Here's a sample from our Business Plan Template using these projections.Â
Â
Based on the model, here is our projected return on a $1,000 investment:Â
- Low (-18%) – investors would lose $180 and recoup $820Â
- Medium (111%) – investors would receive $2,110. Their original $1,000 returned + $1,110 profit
- High (353%) - investors would receive $4,530. Their original $1,000 returned + $3,530 profit
It's really that simple, and of course, once you read it and see the spreadsheet, it becomes crystal clear.
It's a shame we see way too many producers who don't do this math before getting themselves potential investor meetings.Â
Â
We love George, but definitely don't want to be like him when financing our movies!Â

"Melissa, I was extremely hesitant in purchasing even your lowest priced package. It all sounded to good to be true. I spent 2 months last year writing a business plan from scratch for a different medium. So I just couldn't imagine getting anything worth while for the prices you were
offering. But I have an investor that requested a detailed plan with financial projections within 2 weeks, so I pulled the trigger on your Gold + Financials Filmmaker Bundle.
It was the best money I've ever spent! Can't even begin to tell you what a difference it makes. So concise and on point. Makes putting the plan together so fluid and easy. Not having to worry about what to cover, only how to best state it for my film project. Amazing. Thank you so much. Worth every dollar!"
