Which distribution channels are you going to use to get your film out to the various markets? Film festivals? Theatrical release? Private film distributors or other distribution company? A sales agent? Streaming, VOD, Social Media with a paywall? This section will ultimately take up several pages of your business plan.

Even for low-budget films, you must, like all independent filmmakers, be prepared to articulate specific plans in your forward-looking statements to achieve distribution, outlining all of your strategies and why you are pursuing them. After all, an independent film distribution strategy is key to the success of any film.
