Hi ,  When we analyze comps and movies in our business plan template, we most often rely on Box Office numbers. This
is because streamers generally hold their acquisition numbers closely guarded, whereas box office sales have always been made public throughout the industry.  So, if you're marketing your film, and trying to convince investors they will get a Return on their Investment, what do you tell them with regards to streaming acquisitions?  Simple, follow the news. There is not currently - and likely won't be for a very long time, if ever -
a list of streaming deals. The best we can do right now is discuss the publicized deals, usually those acquired at film festivals. We also then show box office numbers for other films, and that gives us a full picture of the information currently available.  Here's an excerpt of the types of things we say in our business plan template (numbers and streamers are crossed out in this email, but they are in our business plan). --------------------------
Business Plan Excerpt  Streaming providers generally guard their acquisition prices tightly, however, here are some recently publicized notable
deals: - Fair Play @ $00M to Streamer – An unexpected promotion at a cutthroat hedge fund pushes a young couple's relationship to the brink, threatening to unravel far more than their recent engagement.
- Malcolm & Marie @ $00M to Streamer – a romantic drama starring John David Washington and Zendaya.
- Bruised @ $00M to Streamer -
Halle Berry’s directorial debut stars her portraying a comeback MMA fighter.
- CODA @ $00M to Streamer - a coming-of-age drama about high school senior Ruby, the only person in her deaf family capable of hearing
In no way are we saying our $2M budget film might recoup the same dollar amounts in distribution deals, however, we do believe the above acquisitions demonstrate our story, theme and genre are highly coveted in the industry and are currently commanding top dollar deals. ------------------------------------------------ It's pretty simple. You just start gathering the
info you can find, and add more over time. A Business Plan is a living/breathing document until your movie is fully funded. So just stay on top of the news and it won't be long before you have 10-20 streaming deals under your belt.Â

"Melissa, I was extremely hesitant in purchasing even your lowest priced package. It all sounded to good to be true. I spent 2 months last year writing a business plan from scratch for a different medium. So I just couldn't imagine getting anything worth while for the prices you
were offering. But I have an investor that requested a detailed plan with financial projections within 2 weeks, so I pulled the trigger on your Gold + Financials Filmmaker Bundle.
It was the best money I've ever spent! Can't even begin to tell you what a difference it makes. So concise and on point. Makes putting the plan together so fluid and easy. Not having to worry about what to cover, only how to best state it for my film project. Amazing. Thank you so much. Worth every dollar!"

"Financial Film Package Invaluable and Well Worth the Money!!"
Â
I've made short films before, but this is my first feature, and the first film I've tried raising money for. This template, actually the whole package, has been invaluable and well worth the money I spent on it. So much information is packed into what I got that I'm almost dizzy from it all.
Â
"Thank you again so much. In no small part because of you, your fine staff, Nash & Associates and your incredible body of templates and instructions I’ve been able to raise over $400,000 dollars so far for the film. I honestly don’t think I would have been able to raise a dime if not for the detailed and professional deck I was able to put together following your guidelines." - Michael
Â
"I love this program. I'm new to this industry and this is helping me become more professional. I have spent a lot of time working on my own and getting things accomplished but my projects are getting bigger so as I grow and my team grows with me, these tools will help me to communicate better. Having the basic fundamentals can go a long way in this industry and it make it easier to work with other. Thank you for providing a platform for individuals like
myself.!!!"

Â
"When I presented my project to my investor, they were blown away how prepared I was and rarely see filmmakers have half the documents I supplied. It showed I was serious as a filmmaker and business person.
Â
"I purchased the Gold package with the PPM. The PPM took all the heavy lifting off and saved me so much money that would of cost me thousands from an attorney. The package got me prepared from business plan to financials. I did my research on my film and similar films and just plugged in the info. I had everything prepared and professionally done. On top of that, they offered a review after I followed the steps they gave me. !!"

"Just want to thank you for your materials and help over the past year. I could not have raised the $1.5 million or made this film without the materials you provided. The bargain of my career!"

Â
"Finished my deck on Friday. Got it into a few potential investor’s hands over the weekend, and by Monday had 3 out of the 10 available memberships spoken for at $160K each. The revenue projections and film comparable services by NASH, along with the business plan and pitch deck templates were instrumental in presenting the project in such a way that financially minded potential investors could understand the movie business, the market and how my project could possibly give them
a substantial ROI. Best money I’ve ever spent."

Â
"Undervalued! Honestly, the more I reviewed the assets of this package, the more I thought there had been a mistake, and that I was accidentally given a higher priced kit. It's unbelievable the amount of time, research, education and competency that is offered here. What this will save you in preparation is only surpassed by what this will earn you in execution. If you're looking for ROI, this is the Slumdog Millionaire of Film Business Toolkits. Get it...and get to work!"
Â
"Invaluable Resource - This is my first venture into fund-raising and Film Proposals is the perfect software to help me get started. Clear guidance through the complex business of film financing."
