Every week I receive emails from different parts of the country and abroad expressing how they enjoy our videos. Some from as far away as Argentina, Colombia and Japan praising all of you and say they wish they were here with us too! They all ask me to please keep posting the videos.
TANGO REPORT:
Our November 4, 202l Milonga was a colorful mix of dancers. We consistently attract an equal blend of gallant men and classy women to our Milongas.
DJ Jack Hanley delivered an exciting night of lively music. DJ Jack Hanley's devotion to his craft and for us is praiseworthy here. He diligently customizes a playlist just for us and crosses the GWB just to ensure we are up and dancing all night long to the music we love.
Give yourselves a round of applause. Together, we make this Milonga like no other around.
The class and caliber of gallantry and soulfulness you all bring here makes Terri's Milonga the quality showcase of Tango etiquette to the entire community.
We are living proof of quality over quantity. We are welcoming, fun loving, and forge close friendships every Thursday night. I would not have it any other way.
Reserve yourself at least one Thursday night to experience a Tango night like no other. Give us a try. We bring you in demand, talented DJs, spacious venue, hardwood floors and really nice people to mingle and jingle with.
We are the home of the exciting instructors Analia Carreno and Luis Ramirez. They coach us just enough to sharpen every skill level each Thursday night group lesson. It is worth attending just to feed off of the vibrancy and variety of styles we lend to each other. Never a dull moment here.
What is fun about us is every skill level from the curious to the seasoned are welcome. We all learn from and enjoy each other's company at our group lesson and Milongas.
We each have developing styles. This is where we practice it with one another. It is just a beautiful thing to watch.
Not to mention, it is always about having fun!

You'll be pleased to meet Tibor. He is not only a suave greeter but his door management and traffic flow is what makes every minute count for your fun and Tango time.
He also takes all the videos of the Group Class, after lesson demonstration for our Milongueros and Milongueras to enjoy afterwards.
Tibor trouble shoots when we have technical difficulties. He represents management and maintains policy. Tibor is the name, Tango is the game!

CELEBRATION: A special event for our November 11th 2021 Milonga!
We will celebrate our dear friend and milongueros for over 15 years of being a part of our tango community
JUDY KOSKI and JOHN KOSKI.
They will be relocating to North Carolina soon. Let's wish them good luck, recount our wonderful years of friendship and laughter with them. So let's give them an unforgettable send off! Everyone from our community are welcome to Tango the night away with us on this very special occasion.
Set aside the date to join us in this celebration of devoted friendship and tribute to these two beautiful souls in wishing them a healthy and happy move to their new home. -

Our Evening's Instructors Los Ocampo will coach us at the group lesson.
About them:
Los Ocampo are Mónica Romero and Omar Ocampo, a partnership of over 30 years made up of performing, teaching and sharing Argentine Tango and Folklore around the world. They have a rich dance background and began dancing at an early age, meeting when they were dancers in the Carlos Copes tango company in Buenos Aires and later becoming a stage couple and marrying in 1984.
They really enjoy interacting and dancing with all the Milongueros after the group lesson. They are so warm and approachable that all hesitation just evaporates. Enjoy dancing with them too.
Many of you met the Ocampo last Thursday November 4th 202l and danced with them. We are all in for a treat. Let's give them a warm welcome.

Our variety Cortinas:
We add adobo and sofrito to spice up our Cortinas. Our Cortinas are a delicious mix of Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Cumbia and social style dance that simply keep up the mood with sabor [flavor]. Yet, we consistently remain loyal to our roots.
Remember and Remember here is where we always keep the traditional Argentine Tango alive!

We are fully open!
Our members continue to learn from each other as well. I adore the continued comments I read online about all of you. So proud of you.
We get a wonderfully fun crowd, lovely turn out, fantastic music, and just a steamy vibrant dance floor.
Everyone is welcome to join us. We are fully open. So don't forget invite all of your friends and the tango-curious to come on by and have fun here with us.
Share the videos and photos with your friends on social media and encourage them to join us. We are not snooty here.
NEW STUFF:
Encourage each other as much as I encourage you. Praise each other, compliment each other and coach each other. We are not competitors. We are Tango dancers and Tango friends. Etiquette and good manners set us apart from everyone else.
TALKING POINTS:
Our newsletters is peppered with tango terminology, history, and bits of factoids to help expand your Tango knowledge.
Tango is not only about learning steps, but understanding and listening to the music.
Each artist interprets the same music /song that you dance to, but the musical styles are different.
Your ear, needs to listen so that you can dance to each interpretation from those artists elegantly.
It is written all over the place that the best way to improve your dancing is to know the music you are dancing to as your body moves with the different styles, so that you may look and be lead gracefully on the dance floor. Your style is yours. Own it.

INSTRUCTORS REPORT:
I offer everyone top shelf master instructors that lead by example, coach you, improve your self confidence, and sharpen the skills you've already learned. Our seasoned dancers and our new comers feel at ease. No fear. We all learn from each other. We all coach each other. We all enjoy each other like no place else.
Where ever you go to dance your own unique style will be evident and noticed.
Naturally, every instructor has their own style and methodologies. What works and what sticks with you is all that counts.
NOTE: Analia Carreno and Luis Ramirez are available for private lessons.
**The dance hall is available to us exclusive every Thursday. We are offering private, one on one lessons, by appointment. Call me for details. **
BRAGGING RIGHTS:
It has become quite evident that no matter where our Milongueros and Milongueras go to dance, their style and versatility are immediately recognizable as "you must be from Terri's Firehouse Tango-Milonga II!"
Every seasoned Tangueros feel right at home here because you are always welcome. So continue to come by and join us for the fun of it.
Everyone benefits from the lessons and we all enjoy the exchanges of style, variety and comportment towards one another.
Thursday nights with us are the Tango kick-off so come on over. This is the place for all Tanquero from everywhere to Tango. If you can only Tango one night a week, Thursday nights with us is the place you want to be.
Fun is the operative word. We are not only a showcase for the Tango Community, but the place to go and simply have fun, enjoy really good people and dance like you just don't care!
