TANGO REPORT: January 6, 2022 what a beautiful beginning of the year celebration. Everyone just partied, danced, laughed and burnt up the dance floor. It just goes to show our Milongueros are simply unstoppable. They know how to have a good time.
DJ Marcos Blanco not only had us dancing traditional tango, milongas and Vals, he played some nuevo, and his Cortinas added to the flavor keeping everyone on the dance floor. "what a night."
Terri's Firehouse Tango-Milonga II is the premier showcase for all things that celebrate our passion for traditional Argentine tango.
We dance like no one is watching!
Everyone feels welcome and right at home here with us. We are the friendliest Milonga in town thanks to all of you.
NEW STUFF ANNOUNCEMENT:
With your comfort in consideration - I have added two HEPA approved AIR PURIFIERS that utilize multi-level UV airborne particle technology filters used in airplanes, hospitals and military facilities. These two units will cover the entire venue. They are capable of completely cleaning a room of over 1350 square ft. and way over 600 cubic feet per hour! It is provided to
us courtesy of AMI GLOBAL SECURITY, LLC [my son Tony gifted it to us for our safety or else I cannot come out and play anymore. Thank you Tony]

We are welcoming, fun loving, and forge close friendships every Thursday night. I would not have it any other way.

Come out and enjoy our popular Thursday nights to catch the lesson, polish up what you learned stress-free and call it an early night if you feel like it. Give us a try. It is the practical choice. It works.
We bring you in-demand, talented DJs, top of the line personable Tango instructors, a spacious and clean venue, real hardwood floors and simply, really nice people to mingle and jingle with.
What is specially chill about us is every skill level from the curious to the seasoned make each other feel welcome here.
Nothing intimidating about us. We all learn from and enjoy each other's company at our group lesson, then mingle at the Milongas.
Individually, we each one of us have our own developing styles. This is where we practice it with one another.
It is just a beautiful thing to watch.

Meet the mighty Tibor. He is not only a suave greeter but his door management and traffic flow is what makes every minute count for your fun and Tango time.
He also takes all the videos of the Group Class, after lesson demonstration for our Milongueros and Milongueras to enjoy afterwards.
Tibor trouble shoots if we have technical difficulties. He represents management and maintains policy. Tibor is the name, Tango is the game!

Milonga 8:30PM to 11:15PM
Our Master of Argentine Tango Luis Ramirez will switch hats and DJ for us with his tailor made mix classics and spicy Cortinas designed to inspire and motivate you to practice what you learned. You're going to love it. He puts the fire in Terri's Firehouse Tango Milonga II.
Admission: $20.00 includes guided group lesson and Milonga, snacks and cold and hot beverages, limited free parking available in our lot, convenient street parking, please be kind to our neighbors.

Our variety Cortinas by our DJs.
We add adobo and sofrito to spice up our Cortinas. Our Cortinas are a delicious mix of Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Cumbia and social style dance that simply keep up the mood with sabor [flavor]. Yet, we consistently remain loyal to our roots.
Remember and Remember -- here is where we always keep the traditional Argentine Tango alive!

TALKING POINTS:

Tango is not only about learning steps, but understanding and listening to the music.
Each artist interprets the same music /song that you dance to, but the musical styles are different.
Your ear, needs to listen so that you can dance to each interpretation from those artists elegantly.
It is written all over the place that the best way to improve your dancing is to know the music you are dancing to as your body moves with the different styles, so that you may look and be lead gracefully on the dance floor. Your style is yours. Own it.

INSTRUCTORS REPORT:
I offer everyone top shelf master instructors that lead by example, coach you, improve your self confidence, and sharpen the skills you've already learned. Our seasoned dancers and our new comers feel at ease. No fear. We all learn from each other. We all coach each other. We all enjoy each other like no place else.
Where ever you go to dance your own unique style will be evident and noticed.
Naturally, every instructor has their own style and methodologies. What works and what sticks with you is all that counts.
NOTE: Analia Carreno and Luis Ramirez are available for private lessons.
**The dance hall is available to us exclusive every Thursday. We are offering private, one on one lessons, by appointment. Call me for details. **
BRAGGING RIGHTS:
It has become quite evident that no matter where our Milongueros and Milongueras go to dance, their style and versatility are immediately recognizable as "you must be from Terri's Firehouse Tango-Milonga II!"
Every seasoned Tangueros feel right at home here because you are always welcome. So continue to come by and join us for the fun of it.
Everyone benefits from the lessons and we all enjoy the exchanges of style, variety and comportment towards one another.
Thursday nights with us are the Tango kick-off so come on over. This is the place for all Tangueros from everywhere to Tango. If you can only Tango one night a week, Thursday nights with us is the place you want to be.
Fun is the operative word. We are not only a showcase for the Tango Community, but the place to go and simply have fun, enjoy really good people and dance like you just don't care!
