What's new?
Well, my oldest sheltie has a huge tumour in her abdomen, coming off her liver... while this is sad for me, it means she gets to live every sheltie's dream right now. That is, whenever a human gets food, she gets food!
My son' s dog is staying over again... I don't even remember if I told you the raging diarrhea story from the last time she slept over (as in diarrhea on every patch of carpet in my bedroom). This time around, it's been less eventful!
My birthday heifer, Almagain, is about to calve any day now. I'm hoping for a very splashy speckled baby!
I contacted my Borzoi breeder to get on her list for a puppy.
So, that's it for the updates... On with the show!!

Four Leg BLOG:
MANUAL THERAPY PROTOCOLS
|
|
I’ve been asked for protocols for my manual therapy for decades! I’ve seen questions posted on chat groups asking for ‘how long, how much, where, what techniques’ for mobilization or manual therapies for various musculoskeletal ailments. I’ve had conversations with other physiotherapists in regards to newly graduated canine
rehab professionals asking these questions from them as well – these physios then ask me, “How do you answer, Laurie?” Well, this blog is my answer to that!

For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc, etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET
THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
Go there... Check it out!!!

Have a great week everyone!
Until next time... Cheers!
