What's new?
Well, my Speckled Park heifer, Almagain, had her baby! A little boy... but he has no speckles at all. So, we're all a wee bit disappointed. As such, I'm announcing Edge-Hughes Cattle Company's MEH. All babies are beautiful... All babies are beautiful... We still love him. It's all good.
This month's FourLeg content is about traction. It came about due to a discussion thread where someone said that they were told not to do traction. This person was told that is is no longer supported or recommended. Okay... so I spent at least an hour trying to find data that had come out saying it was detrimental or where that comment would come from. I couldn't find anything. So, I decided to do a literature search looking for data (human and animal) regarding
traction. I'll just sum up my findings with, I'm still going to use and recommend traction... maybe even more so! Hence it's the topic of the Newsletter and the Rehab Minute.
On the dog front, following up from last week's blog. Karma is still with us. Her Buddha belly is intact. She gets treats on a very regular basis and lots of mini adventures. She's still happy!
Me? I'm looking forward to spring! Yes, it's 'technically' spring (as per the calendar)... but Spring in my part of Canada has more of a loose timeline. We won't likely see green grass or buds of any sort until closer to May... but the promise of warmer weather is there!
So, that's it for the updates... !! On with the show...

Please do! I've been using it for DECADES (as have many others) and we see benefits. Check out this newsletter... Check out the Rehab Minute

BLOG:
Scratching the Surface
(Why you should be a FourLeg member)
|
|
I was conversing with a physical therapist about a case. This person obviously knew who I was, sought me out for my opinion and advice. All good. What transpired next sort of shocked me. She commented, I learn so much from your blogs. Great. I do write great blogs! I checked to see
if this person was a member of FourLeg.com, and found out that she wasn’t. So, I replied, if you like the blogs, you’ll be blown away by the full content, and membership is very inexpensive. Her response was, “I had no idea. I’ll have to check it out.”
Okay, so how many of you reading this have no idea that FourLeg.com is a membership website, with over 600 pieces of educational content? If you’re already a member, you can quit reading at this point, and go find one of those bits of content to grow your knowledge and skills. If you are not yet a member of

For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc, etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET
THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
Go there... Check it out!!!

Have a great week everyone!
