What's new?
Well, my legs have recovered! From what, you might ask? This was our branding weekend on the ranch. (Okay, we don't brand, because the calves don't leave the ranch, but we did have to vaccinate and castrate.) Why my legs? Ugh... it was day 1 of being up on my feet prepping food and cleaning the house. Day 2 was up on my feet making the food, setting up tables, serving food, etc. I don't usually take medications, but I
did take Robaxin and Advil and some Wobenzyme as well. Anyhoo, that's out of the way! Phew.
Beyond that, I might be going to the IAVRPT symposium this summer... Just hammering out the details! So, I hope to see some of you there! Check out: https://iavrpt.org/home/annual-symposium/
So, that's it for the updates... On with the show!!

Client Support – Case 1
Recently, I had two patients / cases that reminded me of the important role that we play in CLIENT SUPPORT.
Case 1:
This was the little old dog of a long-time client. The dog was wobbly, needing support to stand, and would chose to turn to the left most of the time. Her regular vet had seen the dog and, ‘didn’t really tell her what she thought it was’. The owner was told to monitor. A neighbour wondered if it was a vestibular episode. So, she called the clinic. The receptionist thought it could be vestibular and made her an appointment to come in.
I saw the dog. The body looked vestibular, but not the eyes.

For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc, etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that
your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
Go there... Check it out!!!

Have a great week everyone!
