Got a Question? Need Answers? Need Ideas?
WELL LOOK NO FURTHER! See what the Four Leg LIBRARY of content has to offer! Or jump onto the FORUM and ask your questions... Not on the Forum yet? Go and register! Not a member yet? Why not?! Affordable & Expansive Learning to be had! What's new? I have just finished day 3 of a 4 day course (Advanced Canine Rehab), that I'm teaching at my clinic. So far so good! The students have seen 25 different dogs! But... it's lots of work for me! And once I'm done this, then my October from hell is over... okay, I have one Strat Planning session in early
November, but other than that, things are pretty open afterwards. Light at the end of the tunnel!! Hooray!
Now, because of all of this teaching, I've not gotten to emails like I normally would, and perhaps I've 'ghosted you' on messenger. My apologies - know it's not personal... So, that's it for the updates... !! On with the
show...

Novel reasons why a set of wheels might be beneficial for your canine patient
|
|
It lists out a number of cases / conditions where a cart / wheelchair might be beneficial in the case of a puppy with mobility loss. So, firstly any issue that affects balance: Cerebella Hypoplasia, Spinal or Vertebral Birth Defects, or Hydrocephalus. These issues can
impact coordination, posture, balance and hence mobility. I can see the argument if that is the clinical picture at hand. Other condition mentioned were Dancing Doberman Disease and Idiopathic Epilepsy. Keep reading...

Have You Checked it Out?
|
|
For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc, etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of
a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it
useful!
Go there... Check it out!!!

Have a great week everyone!
Until next time... Cheers!
