Got a Question? Need Answers? Need Ideas?
WELL LOOK NO FURTHER! See what the Four Leg LIBRARY of content has to offer! Or jump onto the FORUM and ask your questions... Not on the Forum yet? Go and register! Not a member yet? Why not?! Affordable & Expansive Learning to be had! What's new? Well, we're in a deep freeze again here. Not as bad as January. This time, Just bouncing between -15C and -25C. And we received a big dump of snow... I'm looking forward to spring!
Oh... check
out the video of the chicken I'm treating. I'm in love with her. She's so darned cute! (Likely a 'stepped on' injury is the best guess... as she's a house chicken that lives with dogs.) I posted the video on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/caninefitnesscentre/videos/1066336034439106 On the home front... We're hoping to buy another bull on Monday. I love buying bulls! We had 4 little 'early bird' calves (a bull must have gotten out last year about 6 weeks early, but the hired hand didn't seem to mention it.... Hmmm.) Anyways, the early calving has stopped, so fingers crossed we don't get any more babies until April when we're expecting them!
Good enough for now!
So, that's it for the updates... On with the show!

Four Leg BLOG: What is Mesotherapy?
|
|
Mesotherapy in veterinary medicine involves the injection of medications, vitamins, minerals, and other substances into specific points on an animal's body. This technique is primarily used for therapeutic purposes, such as pain management, anti-inflammatory
treatment, wound healing, and skin rejuvenation. It is a medical technique that originated in human medicine and has been adapted for veterinary use. Mesotherapy was developed in France in the 1950s by Dr. Michel Pistor as a minimally invasive way to deliver medications and other substances directly into the skin's mesoderm layer (the middle layer of the skin) for therapeutic purposes.
Initially, mesotherapy was primarily used in
human medicine for cosmetic purposes, such as cellulite reduction and skin rejuvenation, as well as for pain management and the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Over time, its applications expanded to include a wide range of medical conditions. In veterinary medicine, mesotherapy has been adopted as a treatment modality to provide targeted relief for various conditions affecting animals, including musculoskeletal injuries,
osteoarthritis, skin disorders, and chronic pain. Continue reading - click below...

Have You Checked it Out?
|
|
For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises.
There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc, etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question
pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
Go there... Check it out!!!

Have a great week everyone! Until next time... Cheers! Laurie
