Affordable & Expansive Learning to be had!
What's new?
- This week I had some extra days off, which is good because it gave me time to finish my lecture for the International Association of Veterinary Rehabilitation & Physical Therapy.
- Then I gave that lecture on Saturday. Comprehensive Management of Iliopsoas Strains - From acute care to return to sport and everything in between. I'm going to say that I really enjoyed putting the talk together. I learned stuff along the way and was very happy to share. This talk will be available to IAVRPT members (www.IAVRPT.org). And yes, I'll likely record it for FourLeg members within the year as
well.
- I have been so busy lately... but I am determined to get you guys your NEW content for the month for next week's eblast / instalment.
- I really want to get to the cottage on weekends now. Ranch life (and rain) has been preventing this! I am ready for 'real summer'!
- I still need a haircut. Looking back, I think my last one was in February... Hair Salons were shut down again and just reopened. Oi! I am done with this! I have Covid fatigue!
So, that's it for the updates... !! On with the show...

Ae you stuck in the past when it comes to acute injuries? Are you still prescribing RICE? (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation)? Maybe you moved on to PRICE (Protect, Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation). management acronyms were out of date? Well, hold onto your shorts, because that’s what’s coming! No more RICE. No more PRICE. Out with POLICE! We’re now at PEACE & LOVE. Read on to stay up to date!!!

For over a year, I worked with Physiotec (an online exercise platform) to create a exercise prescription platform for canine rehab practitioners. And this is it!
I've put hundreds of exercises together onto this handy platform. You can find the exercises, print off a handout, send them a link to the VIDEOS of the exercises. There's so much: Massage, owner-friendly joint therapies, exercises, advisement, etc,
etc!
NOW... be aware that this platform is run by / owned by Physiotec (and they charge separately for it's use)... and the support for the website is via physiotec as well. The MAIN GLITCH I am finding now... is that when you e-mail or call tech-support you will NEED to LET THEM KNOW that your question pertains to FOURLEGEXERCISE! (Otherwise, it's a bit of a schmozzle to get sorted, because they direct you to the
Physiotec website vs FourLegExercise website!!!) Check it out and LET ME KNOW (what you think, your experiences, etc... so that I can report back if there are issues!)
I hope you find it useful!
Go there... Check it out!!!

Have a great week everyone!
