Perhaps this letter should have a sub-title: ‘bracing for change’ as the next few weeks should prove exhilarating. There is much going on above us and perhaps it is the case that ‘as above, so below’:

On www.spaceweather.com there is a wonderful photo, taken just a few days ago, that shows all 8 planets visible across the night sky from Australia. They appear like knots in a thread stretching across the sky, reminding us that the traditional planets are still within 180 degrees and so on one side of the Sun – a formation that concludes at the end of July.

One of those ‘knots’ is Venus whose brilliance is obvious. Elsewhere on that website, there is the description of a massive wall of acid clouds racing around Venus and bringing storms to Venus’ atmosphere (the article is headed VENUS CLOUD DISCONTINUITY). These clouds are a new phenomenon and might be the result of upset to our Sun’s usual rhythms. (In fact, very planet in our solar system is experiencing discontinuity of one kind or another and Earth is no exception as explained in my  talk on the Astrology of Climate Change).

Venus is the planet associated with money (and yes, relationships). As we know, the world of money and finance is changing - at extraordinary speed. Developments can be traced back to the Uranus-Pluto conjunction of the mid 1960s which accelerated at the Jupiter-Saturn alignment in 1981 and gained greater momentum at the start of the Saturn-Uranus cycle at the end of that decade. The world has ‘gone digital’ and the era of cash is coming to an end.

EQUITIES, BULL RUN AND POTENTIAL RECESSION.

Are we entering a recession? I am not so sure:

Let me begin by stating that my study of the last two centuries show recessions to have a very definite cosmic pattern. Understandably they are not all the same as each has a different cause. That said, there is a pattern. That being the case, the next global recession should hit in 2027.

This does not mean that there won’t be difficulties between now and then: I have particular concern about the September 10^th Full Moon which opposes the NYSE Mars’ position and coincides with a retrograde Mercury. These factors – and others – suggest dramatic events that day and through 2022 Q4.

A fall in equities in September would make sense following a likely - and unsustainable -  surge in prices at the end of July. We could see a bull run this summer before a decidedly volatile Q4.

In the short term, significant turning points include today, June 14th, 15^th, 20^th and, notably July 5^th . 

CRYPTOS

As of the end of 2021, there were over 15 thousand crypto currencies and non fungible tokens (NFTs) in existence. Some are so ‘young’ (only a few days or weeks old) that back testing possible trades is simply not possible.

However, there is data for Bitcoin, ADA, Ethereum and a few others making testing possible. For this I use the amazing astro-facilities on www.optuma.com. Other non-financial astrological software programmes, combined with ‘electional’ techniques are used to analyse recent product launches and to identify promising astro-dates ahead.

As Mercury returns to the position it held before its recent retrograde, the format and content of a new astro-crypto service is coming together. Please bear with me as it nears the launch line.

Again, as expected, discussion as to how best to regulate the growing decentralised finance market (yes, a contradiction!), continues.  This Full Moon picks up on a critical degree for these currencies and for some of the tech giants. Many will be screaming for greater regulation as prices fall.

Despite clear volatility, governments are known to be considering offering their own alternative currencies, whilst developing technology identifies potential weakness in Bitcoin but potential advancement for Ethereum, PolkaDot and the Blockchain systems on which these are built. Harnessing solar power and finding other ways to energise and create these coins, NFTs etc will  eventually lead to increase in their price. These ideas will be explored in my new service.

AUGUST 1^ST

The lunar node, Mars and Uranus make rare alignment in Taurus. Taurus is the money sign and there is every likelihood of announcements being made that day that affects our financial world. A lurch toward the new could yet see cryptos prices temporarily move upward. I will be more confident in price growth from December.

Incidentally, if your birthday is 8-10 May, 10-12 August, 9-11 November or 6-8 February, this major planetary configuration may affect you greatly: winds of change blowing hard.

POLITICS AND WAR

Yet this alignment may have so much more to do with politics and shock waves – and not just in the West. New leaders (dictatorships?) will likely emerge.

As stated in an earlier letter, the Uranus-Node alignment was in operation when the last Crimean war came to an end. I doubt that will be the case this time, and instead have concern that a show of military might on August 1st will destabilize and cause unthinkable destruction.

PROPERTY

On July 15^th I am giving a workshop for students in South East Asia (will be translated). The focus is on property prices in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taipei using an astro-property cycle. I plan to record an expanded English version which will be available as prerecorded video and launched at the next Full Moon. Included within this are general planetary indicators for property moves using natal, progressed and directed charts.

 MERCURY’S RECENT RETROGRADE

You may remember that we were excited by the possibility of an endocrine test determining what ails Michael. The first test was lost (thank you Mercury), the second was invalid and the third stated all was well. So, we are back to square one - but perhaps not quite! With a live-in carer (a Sagittarian wonder-woman!), we are benefiting from rays of positive energy even whilst coping with seemingly endless and worrying infections.  Renewed focus on quality of life is bringing precious moments and much laughter whose healing power is magical. I will be forever grateful to you all for the many good wishes – and advice – sent our way. Without these, I do not think Michael would still be here.
