Happy Monday!

I had the MOST amazing weekend with my sisters! We just talked and laughed (stayed up til 1:00 and 2:00 am) and PLAYED. Yes, we played like children. We played ping pong and cornhole and took turns riding my sister's bicycle and played with a skip ball toy and when it got dark we went inside and played a word tile game called Bananagrams. I basked in sister-love and feel truly nourished.

One thing that happened while I was there: I was convinced of SO many things I now want to buy. LOL My sister has a standing desk in her office, now I want one. She had a "wobble stool" to go with the standing desk, and of course I want one of those too. She has an Oculus virtual reality headset that was SO fun. I didn't think I would enjoy that, but I did. Now it's on my wishlist too.

First up though: I have to have an air fryer. I've resisted buying one even though EVERYONE I know has one, but now that I've seen it in action and experienced the food that comes out of it, I NEED one. If you have one that's a favorite, please share with me what you love about it. I'm someone who wants to weigh ALL options before I buy something, because I want to make sure I get the very best one. 😁

And speaking of weighing options...

Back when I was MUCH younger and John and I lived in Albuquerque, there was a flea market there and they had a bookseller who always came and gave great bargains on buying used books in bulk. He had hundreds and hundreds of books, and I was able to get them very cheaply by loading up a box with a whole bunch of them and paying one low price.

Sometimes I ended up with books I really didn't like or didn't even really want to read, once I got them home and looked them over. But that was okay, because the box (bundle) price for getting them all was so good that I still ended up with an AMAZING deal - more so than I would have by buying even half the number of books individually, even at flea market prices.
