Have you ever noticed that trying to earn more income or accumulate more money can end up being a slow and challenging process that often doesn’t work the way you want it to? Particularly if you’re an
entrepreneur?
I’m participating in an event “Shattering Your Income Goals” hosted by my colleague, Teri Bach. She’s creating a short, focused interview series (Rewrite Your Money Story) that’s
targeting people who are unhappy with their current money situation and/or want to generate more income. We’ll be exploring different ways to help you shift patterns to attract more money.
A few years ago, I decided to work less and prosper more. This was a mindset change for me. It involved giving up low-paying work that consumed many hours to focus on the work I really love that also
pays well. This shift also enabled me to get involved with more activities I enjoy that aren’t about earning money.
In addition to my feng shui practice, I volunteer in a local reading tutoring program at our local school, I participate in our local library’s book club, I joined a French conversation group that
meets for an hour each week, I stepped up my exercise commitments to include weights and more walking, in addition to tai chi, and during the winter months I’m a member of a foreign policy discussion group. I have a well-rounded set of activities that includes my work, without being consumed by my work.
