Our focus for our meeting tomorrow is on the gift our struggles in relationships offers us as a path to trauma healing. What did you learn about relationships when you were young that explains your relationship challenges now?
Once we recognize the young parts of ourselves that have been triggered, we can practice turning toward them
with oceans of compassion and understanding. As these fear-based reactions soften, we realize there is freshness, ease, and space for new and authentic ways of being.

In childhood, many of us learned to abandon parts of
ourselves in order to stay connected with our caregivers. We lost the capacity to trust in ourselves — and in Life — creating inner disconnection and disempowerment in our relationships.
In our time together, we’ll embody:
- Staying rooted in ourselves while connecting with
others; and
- Honoring what is true and authentic in our hearts even when we fear rejection.
We’ll recognize old beliefs that create confusion and mistrust and explore the brave step of trusting ourselves. We’ll turn away from looking to others to fulfill us and go inward,
reconnecting with ourselves and opening to all that arises with love, care, and deep acceptance.
We’ll be present to listening inward to the heart’s intelligence. This is how we practice staying grounded through whatever arises in our relationships.
With self-acceptance, courage, and compassion, we’ll transform relating based on fear and need into intimate connections where our true selves can shine. We will lovingly embrace our humanness as we expand into overflowing appreciation, vibrant joy, and deep connection with all of Life.
