Greetings from Gibson Pewter in Hillsborough Center, NH!

It's been a very busy 2016 thus far. Our shop is still located in Hillsborough Center! Plans for a new shop in Washington, NH are still in the works. Camille & the girls will have limited shop hours up there this summer, so if you see the open flag, stop in and say hello. We'll certainly give plenty of notice before we move the business up the road full time.

Also… 2016 marks our 50th anniversary in business as Gibson Pewter. Thank you all for seeing us through this landmark year!

Martini Goblet

The Martini Goblet was a special order that turned into a fun project. I think I made six prototypes before I settled on a design I really liked. The traditional style won out and visitors to the shop recognize what it is immediately. It's stunning!

Peter Young Chalice

I've wanted to reproduce a Peter Young Chalice for a long time. An alarm bell went off in my head early this Spring and the project began to take shape, literally. I turned a model for the shaft out of pewter rod and did wood turning to create the chucks for spinning the cup and base. It's finally here, it's beautiful and I can't stop looking at it! Young's original chalices, circa 1790's are considered to be an iconic American pewter design.

2016 Christmas Ornaments

Christmas ornaments in July? Yes, this is when we begin the process. Three new designs for your consideration. The Cardinal Ornament is our 2016 featured ornament. Plenty of Cardinals in the neighborhood this year inspired this choice. The Holly Ornament is simple and beautiful and the Skier Ornament reminds me of simpler, care free times. All in all, the new ornaments have been met with great enthusiasm from those who have seen them in person. Get yours today!
