Seasons Greetings From Gibson Pewter
Dear Friends,
2017 has been a very busy year at Gibson Pewter. We moved our entire shop, including several thousand pounds of heavy equipment, from Hillsborough Center to Washington Center (9 miles) in mid June. All I can say is, Wow!
With your help and support, our contractors built a beautiful three season workshop on the left side of the Washington barn. We enjoyed visits from many new and old patrons all spring, summer and fall! We love our new location! Visitors often remarked that the antique lathes looked as though they had been here for 100 years!!
However, there's still work to be done. We're still actively fundraising to finish the project by building the insulated and heated workshop & Learning Center on the right side of the barn. Please check out the Fundraising page on our website for complete details. We've added PayPal buttons to make donating simple and we've created some great rewards for those who donate. In addition, each donor
will be automatically entered into the raffle for our 4 piece Queen Anne Tea Service (value $2,100)
In the meantime, we've created a wonderful 700 sq. ft. heated gallery in back of and connected to our brick house. We're open daily and visitors are welcome! Please park in the upper lot and enter the gallery through the breezeway. In addition to seeing all of our pewter, Camille's assemblage art is available for sale and guest artist, Roger Goode has 12 beautiful oil paintings for sale as well.
